Crooked Lake Cottage comfortably sleeps up to five guests in three bedrooms - one master double bedroom, one single and one twin. An infant in a cot is also more than welcome with a travel cot available on request.
There are three bedrooms at the cottage, these include the Master with double bed, a single bedroom and a twin room with two single beds.
There are two bathrooms at the property, these include the Master Bedroom’s en-suite bathroom with bath and electric shower overhead and a family bathroom, which also has a bath with shower overhead.
Regrettably, the cottage is not suitable for pets.
Children are more than welcome at the cottage. A travel cot and high chair are available on request at the time of booking. Please note: there are steep stairs leading up to the first floor, so parents should supervise young children. The garden is fully enclosed, so children can play safely, again parents should supervise small toddlers playing around the stream.
Unfortunately, we are unable to welcome guests with limited mobility due to all bedrooms and bathrooms being located on the first floor of the cottage.
Some of the doorframes are lower than you would find in a modern home, people over 5'7 may have to duck. In addition, the staircase is a little smaller than modern staircases and goes around a corner.
There is off road car parking for at least 2-3 cars.
Yes, you are more than welcome to use the garage, and a key will be left so you can access it.
Our standard arrival day is a Saturday; however, we can be more flexible outside of the school holidays.
You may arrive at Crooked Lake Cottage any time after 4pm on your day of arrival.
We ask that you please depart by 10am.

We accept payment via debit/credit card, bank transfer, cheque and PayPal (online booking only).
The nearest beach is Westward Ho!, which is approximately six miles away. This is a Blue Flag beach and suitable for families, as well as guests participating in water sports. An alternative beach is Instow, which is around nine miles away, however this is not a Blue Flag beach.
The Bell Inn at Parkham is only a mile away.
